Changelog
Every App Store release gets an entry here, dated, with what actually changed. Changes to this site are logged too, because the claims it makes about the app are part of the product.
App
Version 1.0 has not shipped yet — there is no App Store listing to link to and therefore nothing to log. The first entry goes here on release day. If you want to know when that is, the download page has the one way to be told.
Site
August 6, 2026
- Redesigned the site around the app's own design tokens: the accent, ink, divider and dark-surface colours are the same values the app uses, and the redaction bar became a structural element rather than a decoration.
- Corrected the pricing description everywhere it appeared. Blur and pixelate are unlocked by the one-time purchase; the free version includes solid fill, which is the style to use for anything sensitive.
- Added the app's own logo to the header and the link-preview image, re-encoded with a transparent ground so a single file works on both the light and dark colour schemes.
- Added this page, an about page, and a download page.
- Removed a placeholder note about the App Store link that had been left visible on the home page.
- Added a build check that fails the deploy on placeholder text, broken internal links, malformed structured data, or any third-party asset request.
Earlier
- Initial publication of the site: how it works, why blurred screenshots can be unredacted, the step-by-step guide, the ChatGPT guide, alternatives with three comparisons, FAQ, privacy policy, and support.
